Terms of Service

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", the "User") and the operator of TradeStack (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

1. The Service

TradeStack is a web-based trade journal and analytics application. It allows you to:

  • log trades manually or import them from supported brokers (Alpaca, Tradovate) and CSV files;
  • review trades on a calendar and per-day journal;
  • view performance statistics, equity curve, and win-rate analytics;
  • store screenshots, notes and tags attached to your trades.

No financial advice. TradeStack is a record-keeping and analytics tool. It does not execute trades, hold client funds, provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and is not a regulated financial institution under the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) or any other authority. Trading carries substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@internalstandards.com of any unauthorised access.

3. Free service

  • TradeStack is provided completely free of charge. No payment method, subscription, or trial is required.
  • All currently available features are included when you create an account.
  • We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but any change to pricing will be communicated clearly and will not affect existing free access without your explicit consent.

4. Communications from us

By creating an account and using the Service, you agree that we may send you emails and other communications. These include service-related and transactional messages (for example account confirmations, security alerts, password resets, and updates to these Terms or the Privacy Policy) as well as product updates, feature announcements, tips, and promotional messages about TradeStack.

You can opt out of promotional and product-update emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting support@internalstandards.com. Service-related and transactional communications are necessary to operate your account and will continue while your account remains active.

5. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU/EEA)

Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Lag 2005:59 om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler), implementing Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts.

Because TradeStack is currently offered free of charge, no payment-based right of withdrawal applies. If we introduce paid features in the future, the applicable withdrawal rights will be presented at the time of purchase.

6. The provider

The Service is operated as a Swedish sole proprietorship (enskild näringsidkare):

Lucas Af Petersens (trading as TradeStack)
Corporate registration number (organisationsnummer): 0602217614
Address: Fyndvägen 4, Sweden
Approved for Swedish F-tax (godkänd för F-skatt)
Email: support@internalstandards.com

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access the Service by any automated means other than the official APIs and integrations we provide;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent technical or access controls;
  • upload malware or content that infringes third-party rights or breaks any law;
  • resell, sublicense or share your account with third parties;
  • use the Service to commit market abuse, money laundering, or any unlawful trading activity.

8. Your content and intellectual property

You retain all rights to the trades, notes, screenshots and other content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store and process this content solely to operate the Service for you. All software, design, branding and content created by us remain our intellectual property and are protected by Swedish and EU copyright law.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where possible. We are not liable for unavailability caused by force majeure, third- party providers (Stripe, Supabase, brokers), or your own infrastructure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to a reasonable amount reflecting the value of the free Service provided to you. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, loss of profits, lost trading opportunities, lost data caused by third-party providers, or trading losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law (notably the Konsumentköplagen and Konsumenttjänstlagen where applicable) or for intent or gross negligence.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, in which case we will notify you and, where reasonable, give you an opportunity to cure the breach. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the new Terms, you may delete your account before the effective date.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence within the EU/EEA still apply.

Disputes should first be raised with us at support@internalstandards.com. Consumers in Sweden may also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. Consumers anywhere in the EU may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
