This Cookie Policy explains how TradeStack uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in the app. It complements our Privacy Policy and is provided in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), as implemented in Sweden by chapter 9, section 28 of the Electronic Communications Act (Lag 2022:482 om elektronisk kommunikation), together with the GDPR.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to recognise your device and remember information between pages and sessions. We also use related browser-storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage), which are covered by this Policy.

2. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

These are essential to deliver the Service you have requested. They cannot be switched off and do not require consent under Swedish law.

• sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token - authentication tokens issued by our backend so you stay signed in. Duration: session and up to 7 days.
• tradestack-theme - remembers your theme and currency preferences. Duration: 1 year, localStorage.
• __stripe_mid / __stripe_sid - set by Stripe on the checkout and billing portal for fraud prevention and session continuity. Duration: up to 1 year. See Stripe's cookie policy.

3. Analytics cookies (optional, consent-based)

If we deploy analytics in the future, they will only be set after you give explicit consent via our cookie banner. Analytics data is aggregated and used solely to understand which features are used and to improve the Service. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage or by using the cookie settings link in the footer (when available).

4. What we do not use

• No advertising or remarketing cookies.
• No cross-site tracking pixels.
• No data brokers or third-party marketing networks.
• We never sell or share information collected through cookies.

5. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings (see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or making payments.

6. Changes

We will update this Policy when we add or remove cookies. Material changes will be notified by email or by a notice in the app at least 14 days in advance.
