The rule that ends most FundedNext accounts

Traders rarely fail because their strategy stopped working. They fail because of the consistency rule on the stellar models. A journal makes that visible before it happens: log every trade the same day, watch the daily P&L calendar, and stop when the remaining buffer is smaller than one normal losing trade.

What the rules mean in dollars on a $100,000 account

  • Daily loss of 5% is $5,000. Three losing trades at 1% risk leave you $2,000 of room for the rest of the session.
  • Maximum drawdown of 10% is $10,000 — the total you can be down from the reference balance before the account is closed.
  • The 10% profit target is $10,000. At 1% risk per trade and a 1:2 payoff, that is roughly 10 net winning R.
  • The day that fails most accounts: a $5,000 red day taken after you are already $5,000 down. Both rules break on the same trade, which is why the calendar buffer matters more than any single setup.

Scale linearly for other account sizes — a $50,000 account halves every figure above.

Importing from your FundedNext platform

Each platform exports a different file. These pages show exactly where the export lives and which columns TradeStack reads:

How to track a FundedNext evaluation day by day

  1. Create a portfolio for the account and set its size, so percentages are calculated correctly.
  2. Export from your platform after each session and import the file — the format is auto-detected.
  3. Read the calendar: each day shows its dollar result against your daily loss limit.
  4. Check Consistency % weekly, since payouts are refused on one-big-day profit curves.
  5. Tag setups with playbooks so you can drop the ones that only work on paper.

Frequently asked

Is this FundedNext journal free?

Yes. Every feature is free: unlimited trades, CSV import, the daily P&L calendar, playbooks and full analytics.

What ends most FundedNext accounts?

In practice it is the consistency rule on the stellar models. Tracking your remaining buffer daily is the cheapest way to avoid it.

Which platforms can I import from?

MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader. Export your trade history and drop the file in — the layout is detected automatically.

Can I track several accounts at once?

Yes. Use a separate portfolio per account, each with its own account size, so evaluation and funded results never mix.
